| Vocalocity’s voice software simplifies and accelerates the deployment of voice applications for system manufacturers, hosting providers and software companies. These customers look to Vocalocity to provide key voice infrastructure components at a lower cost with higher functionality than can be found anywhere else in the market. Vocalocity’s intuitive interface streamlines installation, management and monitoring of voice applications including customer self-service, remote workforce management, and transaction processing.

Vodafone Albania
| Albania's newest mobile telephone operator is building its network and systems at record speed. Vodafone Albania has extended its coverage since its August 2001 launch and is expected to cover 72% of the population till March 2002. Vodafone-Albania launched its GSM services in Albania on August 3, 2001 in what is likely to be one of the world's fastest GSM network rollouts. Vodafone-Albania has already activated 50 base stations covering the areas of: Tirana, Fushe-Kruje, Kruje, Lac, Burrel, Lezhe, Shkoder, Elbasan, Pogradec, Korce, Durres, Shijak, Kavaje, Rrogozhine, Berat, Kucove, Lushnje, Fier, Ballsh, Vlore, Gjirokaster, Sarande and the areas around those cities.

Vodafone Australia
| Vodafone Australia operates a GSM digital mobile network that covers 92 per cent of the Australian population. Vodafone's Globalstar satellite service, launched in May 2000, offers 100 per cent geographic coverage of Australia with an integrated GSM/satellite handset. The company offers GPRS (General Packet Radio Services) on the network to its customers and continues to upgrade its network to allow the company to deliver mobile Internet services at data transmission speeds which are significantly faster than the existing GSM networks can deliver. In March 2001, the company bid $253.5 million to secure a national licence of 2 GHz spectrum for the delivery of third generation (3G) mobile telephony services. Vodafone Australia has more than 2 million customers, which is approximately an 18 per cent share of the Australian mobile market.

Vodafone Fiji
| Vodafone was launched in Fiji on 5 July 1994. Vodafone Pacific owns a 49 per cent interest in Vodafone Fiji and Telecom Fiji Ltd owns the remaining 51 per cent. The company is a GSM 900 network operator using the Ericsson switch. There have been continuous upgrades of the switch to be in line with the advancement in technology, services and support. Vodafone began the business with 13 radio base stations covering all major centres. Currently there are 70 radio base stations around the country in all the urban centres, along highways and in several rural locations covering 50% of the population. The current plans are to install 8 more radio stations by the end of the year.

Vodafone New Zealand
| Vodafone Group Plc acquired its New Zealand business in November 1998 (previously known as BellSouth New Zealand). At the time of purchase, BellSouth had 138,000 customers. Vodafone now has more than 1.2 million customers and a network covering 97 per cent of the population. Vodafone provides its GSM (Global System for Mobile) digital communication service on the 900 and 1800 megahertz parts of the radio spectrum. Vodafone is the clear market leader in mobile communications in New Zealand with an eight-fold growth in customer numbers in the past three years. The company is focussed on developing new value-added products and services for its customers, particularly its high value business customers. Right now, WAP and GPRS services are the hot new areas.
