| Mobitel is established in October 1991 as a limited liability company with a basic task of ensuring the development of mobile telecommunications and the establishment of a mobile network in Slovenia. By paying in additional capital at the end of the year the founder (SP PTT Ljubljana) is joined by other PTT companies from across Slovenia. In November 1992 Mobitel is transformed into a public limited company. In 1994 PTT Slovenija makes a division of its activities into post-related and telecommunication activities. Telekom Slovenije becomes the owner of a 100-per cent share of Mobitel. |
