Angola Telecom | Angola Telecom (Empressa Publica de Telecommunicatoes de Angola), the national operator and mobile operator, was converted from a government department to a corporation on February 11, 1997. INACOM - Angolan National Institute of Telecommunications has been created as a public institution by Ordinance No. 12/99 of June 25. Its mission is to regulate and monitor the telecommunciation activities of non-basic services. Presently Angola Telecom is working on changing all the telephone networks in Luanda to make use of digital technology. It is also working in the provinces, changing parts of the infrastructure.

COMATEL | It is a company dedicated to the project, installation and maintenance of the telecommunication exterior network. It is a joint venture between the Grupo Visabeira (80%) and the Angola Telecom, the telecommunication national operator (20%). Using the technology and expertise of the Grupo Visabeira (leader of the telecommunication area in Portugal), and the knowledgement of the Angola Telecom concerning them Angolan reality, the company operates all across the country, especially on the telecommunication area, and on the network engineering domain. It strongly supports the formation and training of Angolan technicians, and it defends a light and flexible organisation, easily adaptable to the clients needs. The company also offers an excellent training program for staff and technicians.

National Commission for Information Technology | The National Commission for Information Technology, hereinafter designated by CNTI, is the government's organ responsible for defining, coordinating and motivating actions that aim at preparing and directing the Angolan State towards an Information Society, within the Angolan government's strategy for the development of Information Technology.
