The Company is organized around two distinct customer segments Integrated Network Solutions, focusing on the needs of wireline service providers, and Mobility Solutions, focusing on the needs of wireless service providers. PCTEL simplifies wireless broadband mobility. We simplify wireless access to the Internet and optimize cellular networks and roaming abilities across carriers. We build specialized antennas to facilitate wireless communication. We enable automatic and secure connectivity to wireless broadband networks and manage the devices connected to those networks.

Wireless Monitor Control Systems (WMCS)
WMCS offers world-wide solutions by implementing state-of-the-art wireless technology in their products. For the long distance range we use a tri-band GSM / GPRS modem with optionally integrated GPS unit. The short distance range (1200 meters) is covered by equipment that operates in the ISM band (915/868 MHz). Since all our products are designed with modularity in mind, powerful systems can be built by just adding another low-cost module. For example, by combining both technologies, measurements that are locally gathered by using short distance wireless telemetry can be forwarded to any centralized control room for further processing using the GSM network. Such signaling can in turn lead to certain immediate or preventive actions.
